Birdmen Paragliding offers both Mountain Tandem flights and
Powered Paragliding Tandem Flights.
• No prior paragliding experience is required. Passengers are seated and strapped into a harness that is attached to the pilot. The only passenger input required is a little run on take-off and landing. Passengers wear a flight suit and have elbow and knee pads strapped onto them. Passengers are required to sign an indemnity form and flying is undertaken entirely at their own risk.

• Passengers to bring their own water, sun block and a warm jacket.

• Passenger transport to and from the site can be arranged.

How long is the flight?

The average tandem flight lasts for about 20-30 minutes. All flights are weather dependent.

Sites Covered:

The sites that are generally flown are Lion's Head, Signal Hill, Sir Lowry's Pass, Hermanus and Franschhoek. See site Site Information for pictures of the sites. Powered flights are from Dolphin Beach to Melkbostrand and back.
